Genetic structure and host specificity of diverse Colletotrichum spp. pathovars

Sandra Wickart is joining the Molecular Plant Breeding group as a Bachelor student to investigate the genetic structure and host specificity of diverse Swiss isolates of Colletotrichum spp. causing anthracnose on different plant hosts. Her work is part of a collaboration between Molecular Plant Breeding at ETH Zurich and Agroscope and will be primarily supervised by Dr. Giovanni Broggini and Dr. Mauro Jermini (Agroscope).
