Bachelor thesis “Quantification and genetic analysis of stomatal traits in a diverse collection of apple trees”

A warm welcome to Laura Merx, who is joining the Molecular Plant Breeding group for the next 5 months, while visiting from RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Her Bachelor thesis will focus on phenotyping stomatal traits in a genetic core collection of apple trees to identify genotypes of physiological interest and perform a genome-wide association study with published single-nucleotide polymorphisms, under the supervision of Graham Dow.
