Master thesis “Identification of structural variants in the genome of apple varieties”

After having completed his semester project “A phased diploid assembly of a Lolium multiflorum genome using long-read data” in our group, Linus Stillhart continues to work with us for this Master thesis. He will be supervised by Dr. Dario Copetti and Dr. Giovanni Broggini to identify structural variants in the genome of apple by means of bioinformatics methods.
